THE SOLAR POWER PLANT PROJECT IN CHAU DUC GOLF & URBAN INDUSTRIAL PARK

With the leased land area about 60 hectares in Chau Duc Golf & Urban Industrial Park, SH Solar Farm Vina Co., Ldt. (Halla E&C Co.,Ltd.) has invested about 1,861.4 billion VND to implement the project of solar power plant with the capacity about 70MW.

Halla E&C Co.,Ltd (Halla) is an experienced enterprise in developing the solar energy project in Korea. Halla has 04 (four) the solar power plant projects in Korea and is now beginning to expand its investment in Vietnam.

For the solar power plant project in Chau Duc Golf & Urban Industrial Park, Halla expects to be a successfull start-up in Vietnam. 

With an estimated capacity of 156.689 GWh per year, the plant will be connected to the national grid to supply electricity to the industry and other loads in Ba Ria Vung Tau. province.

Currently, SH Solar Farm Vina Co., Ltd. has completed the detailed design work and is carrying out procedures for the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. It is expected that the project will be started in the fourth quarter of 2018, put into operation in 2019 and estimated to produce about 156.689 GWh per year.

The Directors of Halla E & C Co., Ltd and SH Solar Farm Vina Co., Ltd field survey of leased land will be implemented the solar power plant in Chau Duc Golf & Urban Industrial Park.

Currently, Chau Duc Golf & Urban Industrial Park is completing compensation for the ground clearance of about 1,569 hectares, completely investment technical infrastructure system for about 514 hectares with full items such as road system, rain water drainage system, wastewater drainage system , sewage treatment plant with the capacity of 4,000m³ / day and night (phase 1 - 500m³ / day and night), water supply plant with the capacity of 50,000 m³ / day and night, and 110 / 22KV power station. with the capacity of 63MW and 22kVA medium voltage grid to serve investors.

Up to now, Chau Duc Golf & Urban Industrial Park has attracted 36 investors with a total area of 286.6 hectares for the industrial land and about 5,600 square meters of the workshop for lease.

Chau Duc Golf & Urban Industrial Park has basically completed the technical infrastructure and attracted many investment projects.

The solar power plant project in Chau Duc Golf & Urban Industrial Park is a highly feasible project which is suitable with the actual conditions of weather and radiation area with the advantage of using clean energy ans not to pollute the environment. The project is in line with the policy of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on socio-economic development in association with environmental protection and has been approved by the Prime Minister in the Electricity Regulation VII, adjusted according to Official Letter No. 217 / TTg-CN dated 09/02/2018.
