GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF SONADEZI HUU PHUOC SOCIAL HOUSES
On October 30, Sonadezi Chau Duc Shareholding Company held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Social Houses at Sonadezi Huu Phuoc Residential Area in Suoi Nghe Commune, Chau Duc District
Attendees included Mr. Bui Chi Thanh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Sonadezi Huu Phuoc Residential Area belongs to Chau Duc Urban Area - a component project of Chau Duc Urban Industrial Park and Golf Course invested by Sonadezi Chau Duc. Sonadezi Huu Phuoc Residential Area has a total land area of about 40.5 hectares, In which, the social houses area is 48,531 m2, equivalent to 27.3% of the project's land fund for housing construction.

With a total area of 48,531 m2, gross floor area of 97,062 m2, social houses in Sonadezi Huu Phuoc Residential Area has a scale approximately 1,213 apartments.
The project is divided into 2 investment phases: Phase 1 has an area of 11,677 m2, with 210 apartments, each unit has an area of 25 m2 - 68 m2 with full functionality. Phase 2 is 36,854 m2 with 1,003 apartments. In which, the total investment of Phase 1 is about 174 billion VND.
It is expected that the project will be completed and fully operationalized by the end of 2024.

Leaders of Sonadezi Corporation announced that Social houses of Sonadezi Huu Phuoc Residential Area is one of the projects prioritized for the company’s resources in 2023 and it is a part of the investment plan for social housing projects of the Sonadezi ecosystem. Social houses is a project item located in the master plan of Chau Duc Urban Area; therefore, all residents living in social housing apartment blocks can utilize the environment and living values of a multi-functional, multi-utility urban area with many facilities and amenities including shopping centers, schools, hospitals, medical stations...
Council of Delegates took photos at the groundbreaking ceremony marking an important milestone for the first social housing project to be started in 2023.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated that, at the present time, there are only 9 completed social housing projects with a scale of 6.1 hectares across the province, including 1,551 apartments. It is expected that by 2030, the province will have 19 industrial parks in operation, with about 15,000 workers expectedly in need of housing; At the same time, there are more than 72,000 low-income people and thousands of other individuals in need of housing support. As a result, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has decided to implement a project for developing social houses to support workers and low-income labors, ensuring that by the year of 2030, at least 30,000 social housing apartments will be completed. In 2023, the Province strives to start construction on at least 2 social housing projects, including the social housing project of Sonadezi Huu Phuoc Residential Area.
